When we first started Five Lakes Coffee, in 2002, one of the first types of coffee we had to learn to make was the espresso. It quickly became one of our favorite ways to make coffee and here are three reason why.
- With only 18-22 seconds of brewing time, Espresso is super fast to make.
- Espresso can be used in all different types of coffee drinks (e.g. cappuccino, americano, latte, etc) because it is concentrated.
- People think you are cool if you know how to make one! And every little bit helps!
A word of caution though: DON'T drink too many at once!
Jared remembers making that mistake, back in 2004, when we were developing our signature Espresso Blend, and let’s just say he didn’t get a lot of sleep.
But, those sleepless nights paid off with what we believe is the perfect Espresso Blend. Not to light and not to dark! Just Right!
